happy little heart

the name of this one should really read, " thankful..or joyful little heart", but i love alliterations and the word "happy" and "heart" sounded better together :)

 a couple of weeks ago i sort of did a "wrap up"; if you will, of what 2011 has been to me. link to be found here. so i won't make you sit through another long blog of me babbling my thoughts to you. i'll make it short and sweet. i just wanted to type out some words and express the gratitude i have for this year, and the gifts i have been given. things like...

 my friends. oh boy, without sounding all goopy and annoying that i have the best friends i could have ever imagined, i am so thankful for them. a wise man told me recently, " how different would you be if it wasn't for the people that had shaped you?" i am thankful for the person i have become thanks to the accountability, fun, grace and love of my wonderful friends.

 super cheesy..but, my car. i am so thankful for the means of transportation that i have. although it was only a span of 6 months that i did not have a set of wheels, it felt like an eternity. i like the freedom it brings, and i am so grateful to even have the opportunity to have my little car ( his name is george).

there are MANY more things....i could go on and on and on. things like the blessing of colorado, and the interview process of a potential new job (im hopeful), and realizing where i have come from and where i am going.
